Counting is something that Cara is all about these days.

She counts her fingers and toes, her eyes, the dog's eyes, her brother's eyes...you get the point.

In an effort to broaden her counting horizons [and yours as well] here are three great places to go to count things.

1.The Zoo - This is an obvious one.  Take your kids to the different exhibits and try and count all of the penguins or all of the flamingos.  For easier counting, try the pandas or the elephants.

2. Elvis's Jumpsuits - He may be dead but his jumpsuits live on!  Take your kids to Graceland and let them count the pretty jumpsuits.

3. The leaves - Here's one that doesn't require you to go anywhere but outside.  No long lines and you can leave whenever you want.  Take your kids outside and let them see how many red leaves or yellow leaves that they can find.  Don't have them count the brown leaves since that might take too long.  :)
